Roa Island House is an imposing 19th century guest house situated on the water's edge of Morcambe Bay. The house enjoys expansive sea views and retains much of the charm and elegance of Edwardian times. We offer a warm, relaxed, informal and friendly atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of 21st century living. All our rooms are tastefully and individually furnished with your comfort in mind. All bedrooms have flat screen TV and a hospitality tray. We can provide you with a cot or child’s bed. Enjoy breakfast at a time to suit you in our breakfast room or covered verandah, both of which overlook the sea out towards historic Piel Island. There is a pleasant TV room and also a reading room. A unique feature of the house is the tower room which provided a landmark on Roa Island. Spend some quiet time here enjoying the spectacular views over the Bay and local areas. Roa Island House is conveniently situated on this tiny peninsula in the lake district, 3 miles from Barrow in Furness and 12 miles from Ulverston. |
